Ms. Katharina Schewe holds both a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in International Business. Ms. Schewe’s Master’s thesis, titled “The Impact of Risk Factors on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Africa,” focused on analyzing the investment behavior of Northern countries and China. She also gained work experience in the sector of international trade, transportation, and supply chains. Ms. Schewe managed the delivery of raw materials to the EMEAI region in a private company. Currently, she is pursuing a Bachelor’s programme in East Asian Economics and Politics at Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB). Since April 2023, he is an intern at the Centre for EU-Asia Connectivity (CEAC). Her research interests lie in the interplay between policies, trade facilitation, soft power, and financial markets.
