Mr. Lukas Zumbusch completed his studies in East Asian Economics and Politics (B.A.) at Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB). Mr. Zumbusch bachelor’s thesis focused on Financial Technology Regulation in Japan. Currently, Lukas Zumbusch is enrolled in the International Political Economy of East Asia (IPEEA) Master’s programme and pursuing a research internship at the Centre for EU- Asia Connectivity (CEAC).

During his studies, Mr. Zumbusch research interests have broadened from regulatory measures and reforms by the Japanese government to include Japanese and South Korean cultural industries, nation branding, and the competitive identity of the countries.
