Nadine Frohwerk

After finishing her studies of East Asian Economics and Politics (B.A.) at Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB), Germany, Nadine Frohwerk is currently enrolled in the International Political Economy of East Asia (IPEEA) master’s program and pursuing a research internship at the Centre for EU-Asia Connectivity (CEAC). Her bachelor thesis focused on the Solar Energy Sector of Japan.

Ms. Frohwerk has undertaken a study abroad during her B.A. studies at Mie University in Japan and she is currently studying abroad at the University of Fukushima, Japan. She is a long-time member of the student’s council of East Asian Studies at RUB (currently on break due to the study abroad). Ms. Frohwerk furthermore is working as an English teacher in Japan and as a Service Center Agent for a major tutoring institute in Germany. Her research interests include Energy Security in Japan, EU-Japan relations, as well as Policy Framing in Japan.
