Mireia Paulo at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition

We announce that Mrs. Mireia Paulo, Head of Management at CEAC, has started her position as a Guest Research Fellow at the prestigious Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich, Germany. This fellowship is supported by the mentoring³-Programm at the UA Ruhr, a career development initiative for female researchers across various disciplines within the Ruhr University Alliance. Mrs. Paulo is participating in this program under the mentorship of Dr. Beatriz Conde Gallego, Senior Research Fellow at the department of Intellectual Property and Competition Law in this institution.

During her three-month fellowship, she will focus on research related to digital data governance, particularly examining the regulatory frameworks of the European Union and the People’s Republic of China. Her research will explore the implications of these frameworks for cross-border data flows and data security.
