Researcher Exchanges & Visiting Scholars
The Centre for EU-Asia Connectivity (CEAC) contributes to researcher exchanges and academic cooperation between Europe and Asia, and worldwide. Research Mobility increases the quality of teaching and research through the exchange of knowledge, international networking, and common research projects. CEAC works to encourage dialogue and interdisciplinary expertise, involving researchers from all around the world in its activities. We strongly believe that the intellectual life at the Centre is enriched by the academic and regional diversity of our guests.

In both teaching and research, CEAC cooperates with universities, research institutes, businesses, civil-society organisations, and public bodies. Our partners and networks support CEAC’s activities. Student Exchange Programmes
Fancy on adventure, intercultural experience, and an international career? CEAC builds and enhances partnerships and networks by leveraging collaborations with academia. Student exchange programmes between universities from Europe and Asia aim at connecting RUB and AREA Ruhr Alliance students with Asian partner universities. Every year students have the opportunity to study abroad for one or two semesters and to be part of prestigious exchange programs.

INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE 2024
The Centre for EU-Asia Connectivity (CEAC) will organise an international conference in June 2024. The conference will deal with selected topics in the field of EU-Asia affairs, with a particular focus on the role of connectivity for the EU in a globalised world.
Junior Researchers Award
The Centre for EU-Asia Connectivity (CEAC) will honour outstanding academic achievements by junior researchers who will take part in the international conference that CEAC will host in 2024. The award recognises the academic work conducted by young researchers who have demonstrated a highest research performance and incorporated a clear European dimension, particularly on the EU-Asia Connectivity, in their research.
