Kento Fukuta

Mr. Kento Fukuta is a recent graduate of the B.A. in International Politics programme at Aoyama Gakuin University and is currently pursuing an M.A. in Political Science at Friedrich Schiller University Jena. With a strong interest in EU-China and EU-Japan relations, Kento brings a well-rounded perspective to his research.

Mr. Fukuta’s professional journey includes an internship with the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung in Japan, where he focused on research and public relations, and a research internship at the EU-Japan Centre. These roles have deepened his passion for EU-Asia relations, particularly in the contexts of China and Japan.

Starting in November 2024, Kento joined the Centre for EU-Asia Connectivity (CEAC) as a trainee, contributing his insights and commitment to advancing EU-Asia connectivity.
