Dr. Weili Huang is currently a Visiting Scholar at the Centre for EU-Asia Connectivity (CEAC) at Ruhr University Bochum (RUB), Germany. She also is a Lecturer at the Business Faculty of Xi’an University of Finance and Economics, China, where she was awarded as “Young Talent”. She has received a PhD from Shaanxi University of Science & Technology (SUST), China, where she also previously worked as an Assistant Lecturer. Dr. Huang has published in a variety of Chinese academic journals such as Managerial and Decision Economics, and Sustainability. Besides, she has published a book named The Upgrade Path of Textile Industry in China under the Product Space Theory.

Her research interests include enterprise innovation, product upgrade, and digital economy. Her interest in China-Eurasia relations is reflected in her research on the internet-based financial cooperation mechanism of the Silk Road Economic Belt. She has received multiple awards during her academic career, including the Second Award of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the 3rd SUST ‘Internet Plus’, 2017, the Excellent Paper Award of the 2nd Business Administration Youth Innovation Forum, 2020, and China’s Scholarship Council Award, 2021.
