The Centre for EU-Asia Connectivity (CEAC) will organise an international conference in June 2024. The conference will deal with selected topics in the field of EU-Asia affairs, with a particular focus on the role of connectivity for the EU in a globalised world.
This conference will include the participation of international, particularly European and Asian, junior and senior scholars, practitioners, civil servants and diplomats, policy-makers, think-tankers, non-governmental organisations, the media, and the general public.
A call for papers will be launched in the first half of 2023. Papers will focus on pertinent issues of connectivity-related policy-making such as global and regional governance and regulatory frameworks, connectivity strategy priorities, connectivity partnerships, and financing mechanisms.
Junior Researchers Awards
The Centre for EU-Asia Connectivity (CEAC) will honour outstanding academic achievements by junior researchers who will take part in the international conference that CEAC will host in 2024 (hyperlink to the international conference subsection).
The award recognises the academic work conducted by young researchers who have demonstrated a highest research performance and incorporated a clear European dimension, particularly on the EU-Asia Connectivity, in their research.
The Junior Researchers Awards aims to support and foster future generations of EU-studies scholars in both Europe and Asia. It also provides career opportunities to the young generations of researchers when participating in international academic work environments.
