Minjee Kim is a doctoral candidate of East Asian Studies, Ruhr University Bochum (RUB). Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Sebastian Bersick at RUB, she conducts research on “Multi-level Governance between the European Union (EU) and Germany: the Case of the Indo-Pacific”. This research focuses on the causal relationship between the EU’s promotion of region-building and the establishment of Asian actorness, especially with the EU’s bilateral relationships as the intervening variable. Regarding these interests, she built practical knowledge from experience working under the guidance of Prof. Sung-Hoon Park at Korea University (KU), who is the director of the EU Centre at KU. Ms. Kim graduated at the School of International Studies.
