Overview

This study will first provide a brief overview of the economic potential of the RCEP member countries and India (henceforth RCEP+I). Then it will be analysed the trade and investment relations between China, the U.S., and the European Union/Germany with the Indo-Pacific region to determine which economic power has comparative advantages and benefits over the others in trade and FDIs within the region.

We will then try to make some predictions and perceptions about the future scenarios for the economic and political reshaping of the region by the three economic powers, namely China, the U.S., and the EU in the Indo-Pacific region to find out the possible conflicts of interest and their solutions for peaceful coexistence.
